Jan 18, 2012 路 I'm using Allo DigiOne in one of the setups and it's very good. I used to have Schiit Eitr (USB to SPIDIF convertor), which sounded exactly the same to my ears (feeding from RaspberryPi 3), but from ease of use point of view, HAT is more elegant (less cables, clutter). The Pi and the Display are using separate power supplies. ALLO DigiOne has been recommend and from the various searches I see HIFIBerry DIGI+ PRO seems to be a good option too. Right now the HiFiBerry is mounted on a RPi that is mounted on a display. Just a practical point of view why I'd rather opt for the Hifiberry. This has coax & BNC outputs but no AES or I2S HiFiBerry Digi2 Pro if you want to spend a little money and wait for the chance of picking up a Pi2AES later. Thanks for the reply!.
